CHIN SURGERY

MENTOPLASTY MAY STRENGTHEN THE CONTOUR OF A RETRACTED CHIN BY INCREASING ITS PROJECTION.

LEARN MORE HERE

The objective of a mentoplasty or genioplasty is to reposition the chin when it is too far forward, too far back, too high, not high enough and / or asymmetrical.

It is sometimes associated with other procedures as part of a broader profiloplasty. For example, it can be performed along with a jaw surgery (maxillary and / or mandibular osteotomy) or a rhinoplasty.
